About NABIP-UT
NABIP-UT is a chapter of the National Association of Benefits Insurance Professionals (NABIP) who specialize in the delivery of individual and group insurance products. Our focus is to educate our members while improving our healthcare system. NABIP-UT represents three local chapters, clients, the insureds, and works to make health insurance more affordable and accessible for all Utahns. By educating elected officials, NABIP-UT urges lawmakers to avoid unnecessary legislation and the unintended consequences that often follow increased governmental involvement.

It is my pleasure to welcome you to the website of the National Association of Benefits and Insurance Professionals (NABIP-UT).
Over the past few years, I have enjoyed being involved with the association and getting to know many of you. I am very excited to have the opportunity to serve as President of NABIP-UT for this year.
Our association plays an extremely important role in keeping our industry moving forward as we face economic and legislative challenges. We have the experience, understanding and voice that can be heard loud and clear here in Utah and across the country. This voice is imperative in keeping the benefits market competitive for those that we serve in the community for years to come.
NABIP-UT's primary goal is to help promote access to affordable health insurance coverage. Our members help consumers by guiding them through the complexities of purchasing and enrolling in a health insurance plan, while ensuring they get the best policy at the most affordable price. We seek to understand each individual situation to create recommendations that complement a client's financial and medical risk needs. However, our job does not end with the sale. Our members are committed to assisting their clients with claims issues, service questions and compliance matters for all of their clients.
Whether your focus is group benefits, individual policies, or Medicare; whether your title is agent, broker, valued staff member, priceless customer service person, or carrier representative. We are ALL being looked to for guidance, advice and direction. We are ALL protecting someone’s interests.
As we look to the future, I challenge everyone to get involved, bring friends and colleagues with, and help us shape the future of the industry and the association.
